For Security Delta’s (HSD) 10th anniversary strategy plan, I developed a clear approach to reinforce HSD’s position within its triple helix stakeholder community. HSD plays a key role in the digital security ecosystem and benefits from partial public funding. To give back, I proposed a knowledge-sharing strategy built around collaboration. The plan included a C-level networking event, several knowledge-sharing activities, and a distinctive, inspiring book at its heart.
From concept to communication: a powerful collaboration
HSD asked me to organise the C-level event and produce the accompanying book. I drew on my previous publishing experience and my long-standing relationship with HSD to steer the project. Balancing diverse stakeholder interests within a fast-evolving ecosystem required both strategy and sensitivity. I focused on capturing these dynamics clearly and communicating them with impact—especially for a publication marking HSD’s 10th anniversary strategy plan.
To make the design stand out, we partnered with Raza, known for their innovative magazine formats. Together, HSD, Raza, and strategyC created a book that immediately resonated with board members, employees, and partners.
A resource that connects and inspires
We designed the book to do more than document HSD’s formative years. It also became a strategic marketing and networking tool that strengthened Security Delta’s ecosystem. One partner commented: “What a beautiful combination of history, marketing, advocacy, and networking. Different from the norm and exceptionally well-executed. Compliments!”
Inspiring the next decade
After publication, the book sparked a broader transformation. It inspired HSD to refresh its brand identity, writing style, and content strategy. What began as an anniversary project evolved into a catalyst for the next decade of growth, innovation, and collaboration.
